JIM BROWN LOCAL 70 BUSINESS AGENT RETIRES

Business Agent Jim Brown announced his retirement effective the end of the year. Brown has been a member of Local 70 for 39 years and has served as Business Agent for the last 11. His assignment covered everything from grocery to water to warehouse and even bus companies. "Brown took to heart the song My Way by Frank Sinatra; he did things his way;" according to Chuck Mack and Joe Silva. "His assignment was always difficult because he had so many individual contracts to negotiate. On behalf of the Local and our members, we thank him for his service and wish him well in retirement."
